Queensland businesses take their mark for Games opportunities
Queensland businesses have the first opportunity to bid for contracts to supply goods and services for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with the launch of the 2032 Games Procurement Program.
The first 50 Expressions of Interest (EOI) packages are open, covering key areas such as technology, temporary venues, market research, signage, event production and more. These opportunities aim to ensure local companies are well-placed to contribute to the Games and benefit from long-term economic growth.
To support statewide participation, a Meet the Buyer Regional Roadshow will take place, with the first set to take place in Cairns on 13 November, and more regional centres in 2026.
More than $2.5 billion across hundreds of procurement contracts will be released in waves leading up to 2032, with a strong focus on engaging businesses of all sizes.
