Games On! funding opportunity now available

The Queensland Government’s $30 million Games On! Grassroots Infrastructure Program is here – offering eligible organisations a unique chance to upgrade facilities or create new community spaces.

Whether improving sports fields, courts, club amenities or developing larger projects like multi-use precincts, this initiative is part of the Queensland Government’s commitment to building a strong sporting legacy ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

The program has two funds:

• Field of Play Fund: Supports community-level projects, such as upgrading fields, courts, lighting, change rooms, storage and club amenities. These improvements enhance accessibility, create high-quality spaces and encourage greater participation in sport.

• Partnership Fund: Supports larger-scale, collaborative projects, including multi-use precincts and shared community spaces. These projects foster community connection, promote inclusivity and deliver versatile facilities that can host a variety of sporting activities.

Eligible organisations must register their interest by 18 March 2026. Shortlisted organisations will be invited to submit a full application.
